Most shops can handle routine maintenance, but fuel injection, turbochargers, diesel emissions systems (DPF, DEF, EGR) and engine repairs are best done by a shop that works on diesels every day.
Where can I get a DOT inspection?
Commercial truck shops and some diesel repair shops perform annual DOT inspections with a qualified inspector. Call ahead — not every truck shop offers them.
